Are you looking to step out of the rat race? If so, Mount Earl is for you, offering a high degree of privacy and seclusion. A quarter of a mile from the nearest public lane, set above the beautiful Downas Valley within 32 acres of private heath and woodland, where nature lovers can enjoy the unusual flora and fauna. Recently the woodland has revealed the ruins of an ancient mill discovered close to the enchanting Downas stream.

SITUATION We are 1½ miles from Coverack and only a 20 minute rugged walk to the beautiful Downas Cove where seals and basking sharks have been spotted. The south west coast path is close by incorporating the breathtaking vantage point of Black Head and far reaching views towards England most southerly point. So why not relax, unwind and soak up the wonderful atmosphere of this magical place.

THINGS TO DO There are many things to do in the area within a short drive. Beaches at Coverack, Downas Cove, Kennack Sands, Porthallow and Godreavy Cove. Attractions at Flambards Theme Park, Roskily Dairy Farm, Gweek Seal Sanctuary, Goonhily Satellite Observatory visitors centre, Lizard Point. Tropical Gardens at Glendurgan and Trebah and the picturesque Helford River Land's End and the Minnack Open Air Theatre are both about 30 miles.

ACCOMMODATION The property comprises of an exposed beam lounge / dining room with granite inglenook and log burner, a spiral staircase and sea views from some aspects. It is well equipped with colour TV, video, stereo, radio, electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge and freezer.

There are two bedrooms, one double, one twin and a sofa bed in the lounge. The bathroom has a separate shower room and there is a downstairs toilet. There is also a conservatory and private garden with a large lawned area, garden furniture and barbecue.

We live in a barn within the grounds but each property has its own garden and is completely self-contained. We won't impinge on your privacy but we are on hand to provide information and help when needed. Children are very welcome and on arrival you will find a welcome pack.

PRICES per week
include linen duvets and blankets, but not towels. Electricity and heating are by coin operated meter. Logs for the fire are provided.
