Peace and tranquillity are assured in this most Cornish of Cornish villages, with several outstanding visitor attractions just minutes away by car. Situation The beautiful Helford river is just 3 miles away and the outstanding gardens of Trebah, Penjerrick, Glendurgan and Carwinion all within 4 miles. Falmouth, with its narrow streets, high street shopping, restaurants, clubs, cinema, boat and fishing trips, huge natural harbour and National Maritime Museum is just 20 minutes by car. Flambards theme park is at Helston (8 miles). Shop and village pub 2 mins. To Do For nature lovers and those who enjoy boats, the misty reaches of the Helford river meander upstream to Gweek, where the world renowned Seal Sanctuary (2 miles) looks after the region's many abandoned and injured seals. Argal Lake with its water sports attractions makes a great day out. In addition, there are the beautiful beaches, the Isles of Scilly, The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno, and the Eden Project to visit, St Ives with its traditional harbour, restaurants, craft shops, and Tate Art Gallery, Geevor Tin Mines, Land's End and many pretty fishing villages such as Mousehole. You will also find endless lovely walks and beaches nearby and on the lovely Lizard Peninsula, with its quaint fishing villages dotting the rocky coastline.
